nawal:~$ nearshore-development

A senior engineering team in your timezone, without US in-house cost.

We're a nearshore studio in Mexico working the same hours as your US team (Central Time). Daily Slack, Friday demos, an open repo from day one — the collaboration of in-house, at roughly half the cost.

  • US-timezone overlap
  • English-first communication
  • You own the code

Why offshore so often disappoints.

  • A 10+ hour timezone gap turns every question into a next-day answer.
  • You get a black box: no repo access, no demos, no idea what's really shipping.
  • Cheap hourly rates hide rework, miscommunication, and blown timelines.
  • The code is a mess you can't hand to another team when the contract ends.

nawal:~$ solutions

How nearshore with nawal is different.

Real-time collaboration

Central Time working hours overlap your whole US day. Questions get answered in minutes, not tomorrow.

Total transparency

Open repository, a live demo every Friday, and Slack access from day one. You always know exactly where things stand.

Senior engineers, fixed price

No junior bait-and-switch and no open-ended hourly meter. Scope and price are fixed per phase before you sign.

nawal:~$ process

How we work.

Four phases. The first one is free — not as a discount, but because we won't quote a system we don't understand yet.

01

Discovery

We sit with the people who do the work, not just the person who called us. We map how the operation actually runs — including the workarounds nobody documented. You keep the map either way.

02

Proposal

Scope, sequence, timeline, closed price — written so you could hand it to someone else and they'd understand it. You sign it or you don't.

1 week · fixed

03

Build

Two-week sprints. A working demo every Friday, run by the engineer who built it. Slack and repo access from day one — you can watch commits land.

8-24 weeks

04

Handover

We train your team on the system they now own. Monthly support if you want it, never as a condition. The code works without us.

nawal:~$ pricing

How pricing works.

No hourly billing. No change-order games. Every phase has a scope, a timeline, and a closed price you see before you sign.

Discovery is free

One week. You get the operational map and a plan, whether or not you hire us.

Fixed price per phase

You know what it costs and when it ends before it starts. If scope changes, we re-quote in the open — we don't discover it on the invoice.

You own the code

Full repository, license 100% yours, at the close of each phase. No perpetual licenses, no lock-in. If you want to move it to another team, you can — and we'll help.

Have a number in mind? Say it on the call. We'll tell you straight whether it fits.

nawal:~$ questions

Nearshore, answered.

What's the difference between nearshore and offshore?

Nearshore means a team in a nearby timezone — for US clients, that's us in Mexico on Central Time. Offshore usually means a 10–12 hour gap (e.g. South/East Asia), which kills real-time collaboration. Nearshore keeps the cost advantage without the async pain.

How much can we save versus a US team?

Typically around half the fully-loaded cost of US in-house engineers or a US agency, for comparable senior talent — without offshore's communication overhead.

Do we own the code?

Yes. At the close of each phase we hand over the full repository under a license that's 100% yours. No lock-in, no perpetual licenses.

How do we communicate day to day?

Slack for daily communication, a video demo every Friday, and an open repo. Everything happens in English (Spanish available).
